-Information report on polar bear
Introduction:
Polar bears are big animals, but did you know that there are over 22,000 to 31,000 of their population and their kind will be dropped 30% in 2050. How much do you think will still be left in 2050?
Do polar bears have any dangers?
In fact yes they do, due to climate change all the ice in the north hemisphere and the Arctic are evaporating which is causing the polar bears dens in the ice to melt and make them have nowhere to live. (Humans)
Where do polar bears live?
A polar bear's habitat is in a den made with ice located in through a hill of ice. As you might ask how they make their dens. First of all they grab out their sharp claws and dig right into a stable mound of ice about 20m deep through.
What is a polar bear's predator, what do you think?.
Do polar bears have a predator?
Polar bears are the biggest type of bear. The male bear weighs about 450kgs and a female weighs in about 150 to 250, because of their size they dont get messed around that much but every creature has a predator such as the polar bear. A polar bear's predator is the human kind, some humans in Canada hunt polar bears for their thick white fluffy fur and meat
.
Food
A polar bear's unique diet is all mainly meat,most of its daily diet is seals.Even sometimes the eat beluga whales(but only when they are stranded.
